ENTRY-LEVEL SOFTWARE DEV ENGINEER ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The candidates will be responsible for designing and bringing innovative products and services to the market.
They should create solutions to run distributed systems that can scale and speed.
They should build distributed storage, index and query systems that are fast and scalable at low cost and easy to use.
Candidates should work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
Here are the basic qualifications that the candidate must have before they can apply for this role:
The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, computer engineering or related fields.
They should possess strong knowledge of the basics of computer science concepts like object-oriented programming, algorithm design, data structures, problem-solving and complexity analysis.
Ideal candidates must know programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Java or Pearl.
This is an entry-level role, however, Amazon has a few preferred qualifications which might help you in your selection process:
Having previous technical internship experience.
Having experience in using distributed systems, multi-tier systems, algorithms and relational databases.
Being good at math like linear programming and non-linear optimization.
Being able to identify problems and cost-effectively solve them.
The selected candidate should relocate to Bangalore. This is a work from office opportunity.
