Entry Level Software Backend Developer Roles and Responsibilities:

1. On a day-to-day basis, the candidates will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications and SaaS products that can be scaled and deployed.

   
   

2. Candidates need to collaborate with multiple teams across the company to gather requirements, design solutions and implement the features.

   
   

3. Ideal candidates should be able to use data structures and object-oriented programming to solve complex problems and optimize the applications for better performance.

   
   

4. They should write clean, efficient and maintainable code using the best industry practices.

   
   

5. Candidates should conduct code reviews, unit testing and integration testing to ensure that the code is deployed with the highest quality and reliability.

Candidates with a bachelor's degree in any field are eligible to apply for this role. Final-year bachelor's students are also welcome to apply for this role.

Basic qualifications and requirements to apply for the role:

1. Candidates should understand web applications and microservices architecture.

   
   

2. They must have a strong understanding of data structures and object-oriented programming concepts.

   
   

3. Having experience in web application and SaaS development is a major advantage for the candidates.

   
   

4. They must have a strong foundation and understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript while having proficiency in at least one of Ruby, Python, Java or Go.

   
   

5. They should have an idea of RESTful APIs and cloud platforms.

   
   

6. Knowing CI/CD pipelines is a major plus for the ideal candidate.

Additionally, candidates must possess strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.

Candidates must also have good knowledge and hands-on experience with MySQL or MariaDB along with agile methodologies.
